A Team Home Services is seeking a motivated and reliable Commercial Framer - Helper to join our construction team. This role is specifically for commercial projects, but can transition to residential if work slows. As a Helper, you will support lead framers and carpenters in the construction of commercial buildings, including installing structural framing, walls, floors, and roof systems. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-focused, and eager to grow within the trades.

Responsibilities:

Assist framers with layout, measuring, cutting, and installation of wood or metal framing materials
Load, unload, and stage materials on job sites
Operate hand and power tools such as nail guns, circular saws, drills, and tape measures
Help assemble walls, floors, trusses, and other structural components
Measure and cut materials based on specifications
Follow verbal directions, blueprints, and job site instructions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support adherence to OSHA and company safety standards
Perform general labor tasks as assigned by Lead Carpenter or supervisor

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years experience in drywall
OSHA 10 preferred but not required
Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
Knowledge of construction and safety regulations.
Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
Attention to detail and precision in work.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
Provide 3 references

Pay rate:

$16-$22 hourly
