A Team home Services is seeking a ACT Installer - Lead to join our team. The ACT Installer Lead is responsible for the installation of acoustical ceiling tile (ACT) and grid ceiling systems in commercial spaces. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete commercial projects safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Prior experience with T-bar grid systems and tile layout is required. This role is specifically for commercial contract work, team members may transition to residential if commercial contract work slows down. 


Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily installation of ACT and suspended ceiling grid systems
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, layout plans, and specifications
  • Set up and establish ceiling layout using laser levels and measuring tools
  • Install main runners, cross tees, wall angles, and acoustical ceiling tiles
  • Verify alignment, leveling, and quality of completed work
  • Manage jobsite workflow and delegate tasks to helpers and installers
  • Communicate with project managers and clients as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials provided by the company
  • Train and mentor ACT Installer Helpers
  • Complete daily reports and jobsite documentation


Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience installing acoustical ceiling systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction layouts
  • Strong understanding of ACT and grid ceiling materials and methods
  • Leadership or crew lead experience in construction trades preferred
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work from ladders or lifts
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred
  • Professional attitude and commitment to safety

Pay Rate:
  • $25.00-$30.00/hour
